What is the location of the Orlik cottage?
The cottage is located on a steeper slope in semi-solitude about 300m above the town centre. There are 3 footpaths leading to the town, the shortest takes about 5 minutes downhill from the cottage to the centre and about 15 minutes uphill. The nearest public car park is about 900m from the cottage. Our guests have a discount on parking fees of approx 50% off the public car park prices. It is possible to order a taxi on arrival and departure.
Can I get to the hotel Orlik in my own car?
In the summer, yes, but we recommend that only experienced drivers drive to Orlik, as the last 600 m or so are on a forest road. Rain can complicate the approach, expect uneven roads. Please consult with us by phone for the current road conditions. We will be happy to arrange transport if necessary. A very good alternative in summer is to take the tarmac road above the cottage and walk 100m on foot - in winter this option is not possible as the road goes over a ski slope. On the way, however, you need to buy an entry permit from a machine, which can be found at the sign restricting entry without a permit from the town.
Where can you park your car if you don't park at the hotel?

How to get to the ski area easily?
Orlik is about 500 m from the ski area. It is enough to go about 100m above the chalet, put on skis and ski down to the ski area. At the end of skiing, it is possible to reach the chalet from the top of the Javor ski slope past the Kladenka hotel.
What is the arrival and departure time?
Check-in time is between 15:00 and 20:00. Check-out time is 10:00. Exceptions are possible by mutual agreement.
What about smoking at Orlík?
There is a no smoking policy in the entire interior of the hotel.
When is the bar and restaurant open?
Breakfast is served from 8:00 to 10:00, dinner from 18:00 to 20:00. The time can be postponed by mutual agreement. The bar is normally open from 8:00 to 11:00 and from 14:00 to 22:00. Closing hours can be postponed if desired.
What does the catering look like?
Breakfast and dinner, or lunch, are served buffet style. Breakfast consists of a hot and cold buffet such as sausages, eggs, beans, ham, cheese, salami, pate, yoghurt, muesli, vegetables, fruit. Juices, tea and coffee are available to drink at breakfast. There is a powerful blender for making smoothies. Dinner is served in the form of starter, soup, main course, dessert, cheese and fruit variations. If you have any allergies or dietary restrictions, please report them in advance - they may incur additional charges.
What is included in our All Inclusive package?
It includes a breakfast and dinner buffet, a lunch package that the guest prepares himself from the breakfast buffet, and 1 hour of private wellness every day, as well as free drinks.
Beverage consumption is limited to the hours of 8:00 to 11:00 and 14:00 to 20:00 and includes all hot and cold soft drinks, beer, wines on tap and spirits up to 70,- CZK per 0,04l. In the case of ordering more premium spirits priced above 70 CZK/0,04l, only the difference above this value is charged. In case of ordering a whole bottle of wine we provide a discount of 250 CZK/bottle.
This package is sold only to the whole room.
How big are the rooms and how equipped are they?
Our rooms are smaller and simply furnished, but cosy with a mountain atmosphere. 2-bed rooms are 15-20m2 and 4-bed rooms are 30-35m2. Each room can add 1-2 extra beds in the form of a sofa chair, couch, futon or stool. Most of the furniture is made to measure so as not to take up unnecessary space. After a busy day, you can sleep on high mattresses with pocket springs, you won't find foam mattresses here. The walls of the rooms are decorated with photo panels of views from the Krkonoše Mountains by photographer Pavla Marešová. Not only for long winter evenings there is a shelf of books to read. Towels are available in the rooms.
